The promotion to this prestigious rank occurred during a training session at the headquarters of Straight Blast Gym Ireland. John Kavanagh, the coach of the champion, honored his student by presenting him with a black belt, symbolizing a mastery of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
The renowned MMA fighter, recognized worldwide, has achieved yet another remarkable accomplishment. This time, he has earned a black belt in BJJ, which he proudly displayed around his waist following Monday’s training session at the Straight Blast Gym. Conor’s head coach granted him the black belt after a rigorous training session. Prior to this achievement, The Notorious MMA had already made history as the champion in two weight divisions in the UFC – Featherweight in 2015 and Lightweight in 2016.
The Irishman wasted no time in sharing his promotion on social media, expressing his excitement in his own unique way. Throughout the night, he proudly showcased his black belt, at his pub and in town accompanied by a stylish pink outfit.
