Catch Them with The Infamous ‘Pena Choke’ from 5 Positions

The ‘Pena Choke’ is a sinister choke using your own lapel, from BJJ world and ADCC champion Felipe “Preguica” Pena.

STEPS:

Start: Full back control
1. Start from a seat belt control
2. Fall to your underhook side.
3. When they defend, shoot your underhook deep grabbing their shoulder and feed your own opposite lapel to your underhook arm and now throw your leg over.
FINISH: Apply pressure to his neck/head with your leg and PULL the lapel for the choke.
NOTE: The finish is very similar to a bow & arrow choke.

There you have it, the Pena choke dubbed by Felipe Pena himself.
