The latest Danaher Death Squad Success story has none other to thank than resident troublemaker – AJ Agazarm.
Garry Tonon just conquered another EBI, this time in a significantly higher weight class than his own. He was there standing in for 2x EBI winner Gordon Ryan.
Ryan suffered an eye cut several days prior to the match that lead the team into a situation where much lighter – Tonon was forced to replace him.
Now Gordon Ryan has revealed the story behind his cut:
“Trained with a young lad called AJ Agazarm. Flying kneed me directly in the eye 3 days before the EBI is supposed to go down. I’m like *covers his eye* that’s a cut. Put my hand on my face. Blood all over my hand. Like, yeah, that just happened “
When prompted as to just how AJ Agazarm found his place in another murky situation Gordon responded:
“He travels a lot so he just pops up at random places at random times. And it’s always something I feel going on around him that causes a lot of controversy which is good for .. you know building his name so I blame that.”
Of course Ryan is no stranger to controversy having caused quite a few himself!

And the word is the cut might impact more than just the EBI event – Ryan recently opened it accidentally and it might result in him dropping out of ADCC North American Trials.
