2 Things You Should Never Do In BJJ Or Wrestling

Coach Kyle Cerminara shows us 2 things that everybody does, especially in Jiu-Jitsu but that we should never do in wrestling or jiu jitsu.

He starts off by might happen if you control the waist when attacking for a go around: you can get rolled over or you let the guy granby roll and you lose the position. He prefers to control the hamstring or leg and spin around the other side to get to side control.

The other example is how to attack the collar tie. If you directly attack the collar tie, you give your opponent the opportunity to counter you by shooting in. He instead attacks the wrists first moving up for the collar tie and controlling the distance…
