Mickey Gall has had an impressive debut in the UFC. He’s crumpled the dreams of former professional wrestler CM Punk in quite a fashion. But the young bjj brown belt is more proud of helping his family overcome a crysis through the power of bjj.
Mickey Gall’s younger sister had an issue with drugs. One that luckily Gall could help her overcome.
Gall is a brown belt under the Gracie Humaitá banner under Professor David Adiv.
She was struggling with addiction and rehabs 2 years ago. She tried to get sober and Mickey could never give up on her.
Here’s Mickey with his sisters.
Jamie Gall has been training hard for the past two years. In that time she’s reached the rank of blue belt.
But most of her social media presence is as can be expected focused on supporting Mickey who faces his biggest adversary yet in UFC Superstar Sage Northcutt.
Sage who was once a part of the Tristar Gym has swapped roles with Gall.
Mickey Gall is spending some time training at Tristar, I’m told. Meanwhile, Sage Northcutt is at Roufsport helping Woodley prepare for 205.

Gall himself commented on the swap slamming Sage Northcutt’s work ethic in an interview on “The MMA Hour.”.
“Yeah, I asked (why he left) and they said that he was a little homesick,” Gall said. “And some of the guys were saying that he really didn’t work that hard. They didn’t think he had that, a hard worker and that they expect me to beat him up.”
Firas Zahabi will corner Gall Saturday night, which is just one of many interesting storylines heading into this weekend.
