The popular BJJ podcast The BJJ Hour, had their 50th episode this Sunday. The topic was: “Women in BJJ & Sexy Pictures of BJJ Women.”
The guests were William Burkhardt of BJJ Pix from Brazil, 2015 double gold black belt world champion Dominyka Obelenyte from New York, Guillaume (Gile) Huni of BJJ Eastern Europe, from Belgrade, Serbia, and the host was Stephanis Koukis.
They discussed the controversial photographic shoots some women have done that many don’t feel show the “real” women that do jiu-jitsu. They also discussed what keeps women from training in ANY martial art and how we can change that and create a better environment to welcome everybody.
