BJJEE caught up with UFC vet, Croatian MMA/ BJJ Fighter Goran Reljic who trains under the Redzovic brothers (Eddie and Adem) in their academy in Chicago. Reljic has been training BJJ for a long time and has spent time training directly with Roger Gracie in London. 2 years ago he was promoted to BJJ black belt by the Redzovic brothers. Goran talks about what he is up to nowadays, his career in KSW and more:

Hi Goran, what have been up to these past few months? 

Just training alot all together with some very technical people,improving every aspect of my game,training is very good with no injuries Thank God

You will be fighting once again in KSW in May. What do you think of the Polish MMA scene and of KSW?

KSW is number one organization in Europe for sure and it’s growing so I am very happy to fight there. Polish mma is very good. These people really understand the fight game.

Please tell us more about your Jiu-Jitsu and MMA journey. How did you start training, how you met Roger Gracie, time spent in UK with Roger?

Roger and I met in 2007 I believe. I was with him till 2010 and I learned alot from him. It was great experience to learn from this guy .

How did you meet the Redzovic brothers and please tell us more about your relationship with them

I met Adem and Eddie Redzovic through one guy from Croatia. All i can say is these people really changed my point of view in sport and life in genera. These people are not just my friends, they are my family.

Do you plan to compete some more in BJJ and grappling in parallel to your MMA career?

Of course I would love to but MMA is my main thing. We will see.

What are your plans for 2015?

The plans are huge but i wanna keep that for myself.
