Rodrigo Cavaca, c-owner of Zenith Jiu-Jitsu (together with Robert Drysdale) received the third degree on his black belt last weekend.
Cavaca is a World champion of Jiu-Jitsu and mentor of Marcus Buchecha.
He wrote about the event on his facebook:
“Thank you. That’s the word I can use to thank everyone who took part of my story today in Jiu-Jitsu. Thousands of friends and students, many teachers, teachers who taught me and teach today. Yesterday I had the pleasure of receiving my third degree black belt from the hands of my brother, friend and business partner, Robert Drysdale, a guy who has always been an idol and example for me. Thanks for everything, brother. I would like to thank all of our students who were present and were able to participate in this special day of my life. There have been nine years at black belt, nearly 14 years of Jiu-Jitsu, many stories, many obstacles, many joys, and learning. Do not forget the essence of life, which is to live in constant evolution, always seeking to be a better person and transmit the good to the greatest number of people as possible. ”
