Rodolfo Vieira Shares His Opinion On Nicholas Meregali: “I Don’t Know If It’s A Character”

Nicholas Meregali is one of the most elite Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu athletes in history.
And he made a big name for himself not just through competition results – but also through trash talk.

As it is with almost all things, various people have various opinions on Meregali’s behavior.
BJJ legend Rodolfo Vieira has one as well.

Vieira shared his thoughts in a recent interview with Canal do Marinho:

I don’t know if it’s a character or if he’s just like that.
I don’t know him personally, I don’t know what Meregali is like in person, but it’s working.

It increased his popularity a lot, he’s getting good fights.

For Vieira, Meregali is someone who talks a lot – but backs it up as well:

He’s a guy who talks, goes there and does it.

He knows how to fight with that responsibility, with that weight on his shoulders that you carry too much when you talk.
Nicholas Meregali has performed well in that way and I think it’s not a big deal.

He’s not disrespecting anyone, he just says he’s the best, that he’s going to do it and it happens.
And he ends up getting there and doing it.
