Today at the Pan Open Weight final, Leandro Lo will face Bernardo Faria just like they did in last year’s final. In the female absolute, it’s a double Alliance showdown between Dominyka Obelenyte and Andresa Correa.
What happened
The American Tim Spriggs defeated João Gabriel Rocha in the first quarterfinal by 5-2 win. Luiz Panza back from a serious injury defeated Mahamed Aly and James Puopolo, he met Leandro Lo in the quarter final and let him pass to the semi. Lo faced Galvao and was able to win on points.
Bernardo Faria, the 2015 world champion submitted all phis opponents on his way to the semi where he choked out Tim Spriggs with an Ezekiel.
Faria, the biggest star of the event will only be fighting the finals of the absolute and will pull out of his weight class.
