Magomed Zainalov, a well-respected fighter of the Hardcore MMA organization, is currently battling severe injuries – following a fall from the 10th floor of a building in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.
This incident occurred during Zainalov’s attempt to rescue his pet cat.
Eyewitnesses and a video circulating on social media depict the aftermath of this tragic fall. Zainalov, found shirtless and in jogging bottoms, was lying in a pool of blood on the street.
The video – too graphic for us to show – further reveals a car with a shattered windscreen, presumably damaged as Zainalov landed on it.
The initial reports from Russian media outlet pravda.ru suggest that Zainalov’s cat ventured onto the balcony and then onto a drain pipe, leading to this unfortunate series of events.
It is believed that Zainalov, in his attempt to save his cat, fell out of a window.
Miraculously surviving the fall, Zainalov sustained significant injuries, including broken legs and a fractured pelvis.
Vitaly Tarasov, Zainalov’s manager, shared insights into his condition in an interview with Sports24 via Social Bites:
I talked to Magomed’s wife.
According to him, he was absolutely sober when this happened.We are now waiting for him to fully recover and start talking.
He is currently conscious and under the supervision of doctors, his condition is stable, he has fractures in his legs and pelvis.
