A man who went too hard during an MMA training session at a Peaceful Fighter Gym in Eugene, Oregon has been arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
The Peaceful Fighter gym, on Eighth Avenue, teaches mixed martial arts, women’s self-defense, jiu-jitsu and other types of combat.

Justin Kyle Antolin, 24, was using the gym on April 20 when he punched a teenage girl in the nose, causing extensive damage, police said.
The two had been paired up for an exercise, police said, in which physical contact was only permitted with foam rolls.
Ten days later, police were contacted and began an investigation.
Antolin was arrested Wednesday. Second-degree assault is a Measure 11 offense that carries a mandatory minimum sentence of nearly six years upon conviction.
