And it’s bound to be a superbly exciting matchup.
Andy Varela, representing 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu, has earned a reputation as one of the most entertaining athletes in the sport – with his explosive takedowns, quick back takes, and a superb front headlock game.

For example, he won silver at the 2022 ADCC West Coast Trials; after defeating opponents such as Magid Hage, Alan Sanchez, and PJ Barch.
He has secured a third-place finish at the 2024 Trials as well.
Jozef Chen, widely recognized as one of the most promising talents, has already made plenty of waves in the sport.
Despite being just 19 years old, the B Team Jiu-Jitsu representative has already won the 2023 ADCC Asia and Oceania Trials – when he defeated ADCC veterans like Mateusz Szczecinski, Tommy Langaker, and Oliver Taza.
