FightinglifestyleUAE caught up with the founder of team CheckMat and two time ADCC Champion Leo Vieira as he discusses the recent injuries faced by two of his students, Marcus Almeida “Buchecha” and Luiz Panza. Additionally Leo Vieira also talks about his preference to fight in the upcoming ADCC 2015 stating that a match up between him and Victor ‘Shaolin’ Ribeiro would be legendary.
Leo Vieira Stated:
“I would like to have an opportunity to be in a super fight and the reason why is that the same time I can coach, I can compete as well. I am more a coach then a competitor, So I like to compete but I love to coach. The super fight would be perfect for me. Also I would like to push a super fight between me and Shaolin, So I think for Brazil especially for Sao Paulo, when I have so many people there and Shaolin has so many people there, I believe people will travel from all over the world to see this fight. If we do the super fight in Brazil, Shaolin & Leo Vieira again people will travel from all over the world to see this fight, and Shaolin also wants to do this fight. We have some private competition who want to make this fight happen, but we were expecting ADCC to make this competition happen.”
