Jeff Glover has not competed professionally in a while…
But that’s about to change – as he is set to face against Urijah Faber in a Combat Jiu-Jitsu match!
The bout will take place at A1 Combat 21, on May 25th, 2024:

Faber was originally supposed to face his old rival Jeff Curran in a rematch.
However, Curran had to withdraw from the match due to undisclosed circumstances.
In an unexpected turn, Jeff Glover has agreed to step in as a replacement with just over a month’s notice.
This move surprised many fans, as most would have expected another former MMA fighter to fill the spot – and few anticipated Glover coming out of retirement.
Specifically, his last professional grappling match was at Battlefield Fighting Championship 1 in 2017.
Faber, on the other hand, remains retired from professional MMA.
However, he returned to wrestling competition after two decades – winning a silver medal at the US Open.
He also competed in regular Jiu-Jitsu and Combat Jiu-Jitsu matches, with his most recent match occurring at the end of 2022; where he faced CJJ world champion Elias Anderson, taking the match to EBI overtime before losing.
