GF Team Makes Statement About Fake BJJ Black Belt Jay Queiroz

Jay Queiroz of Team Jay Queiroz Martial Arts in Marlboro, NY was claiming to be an “IBJJF recognized Blackbelt” under the world famous GFTEAM. He was exposed last week by BJJ Brown belt Mike Palladino and his students.

You will enjoy an arsenal of videos on his youtube channel ” team jay queiroz martial arts ”. his website where his bogus claims are made http://jqmartialarts.tk/classes/ has since been taken down.

Queiroz, a Brazilian national, has been confirmed by GFTeam of just being a purple belt.

Here is what GF Team leader Julio Cesar Pereira had to say about him from his Facebook:

Queiroz’s instructor back in Brazil also made a statement, denouncing his ex student as a black belt fraud:

Translation from Portuguese:

“I want to inform you through this message that Jay Queiroz is not and never will be a Black Belt under GF Team. In reality he was a student of mine until his Purple Belt. He is calming that he did in fact get is Black Belt from American Top Team NY. But he insists to put on his profile that he is a Black Belt under GF Team. I have tried to reach out to him many times and I was not successful in contacting him, I believe he has blocked me. I have contacted our master Julio Cesar Pereira and he has been informed of the situation. I want to apologize to all Black Belts for this student and of his tremendous scam using our team name. ”
