Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone Takes On Dana White’s $100k Bull Riding Challenge

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone Takes On Dana White’s $100k Bull Riding Challenge

UFC legend Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone is gearing up for a unique challenge that strays far from the octagon…
As he’s set to face off against Dana White‘s 1,400-pound bull, called ‘Twisted Steel’, in a unique rodeo event!

Dana White, the UFC’s CEO, harbors a lesser-known passion for bull riding. His prized bull, “Twisted Steel”, has made a name for itself on the Professional Bull Riding (PBR) circuit; notably at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The bull’s reputation is formidable – having allowed only three riders to stay on for the required 8 seconds in 34 attempts.

Cerrone, who hung up his gloves in July 2022 after a series of losses in the UFC, was present at the event and couldn’t resist the challenge.
He took to Instagram, wearing his cowboy hat, to call out “Twisted Steel” for a one-on-one challenge:

I’m dead serious. I’ve never said “no” to a fight.
I think I should give him hell.

Accepting the challenge, Dana White announced the event on Twitter – setting the date for May 18th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, during the PBR World Finals!

White has also pledged a $50.000 donation to Cerrone’s charity of choice for accepting the challenge; with the amount doubling to $100.000 if Cerrone manages to last the full eight seconds.
