The upcoming UFC Fight Pass Invitational 5, scheduled for December 10th, 2023, is set to feature a superfight between Dan Manasoiu and Victor Hugo!
This Fight Pass Invitational event, already full of top-tier talent and match-ups, will include this bout as a highlight of the main card.
Manasoiu’s participation is part of a larger representation from his team – New Wave Jiu-Jitsu.
His teammates, including Gordon Ryan, will also be competing at the event.
Ryan is set to take on Mason Fowler in the main event, a match-up that poses a fresh challenge for Ryan, who has been dominating the no-gi grappling scene in recent years.
Additionally, Nicholas Meregali – another teammate – will be returning to no-gi competition, to face former ADCC world champion Felipe Pena.
Victor Hugo took to his official Instagram account to announce his bout against Manasoiu, creating excitement among fans:

An interesting twist to the event would have been the anticipated return of Georges St-Pierre to professional grappling, after nearly two decades…
However, plans changed. And, while St-Pierre won’t compete, he will be present as a commentator – adding his expertise to the event’s coverage and the excitement that awaits us.
