Bianca Basilio Super Motivated To Submit Anna Rodrigues: “I Train To Be The Best”

On April 27th, Bianca Basilio will face Anna Rodrigues on a BJJ Stars event…
In a match that will show why their rivalry goes beyond the mats.

Basilio thought back to the previous times they’ve faced each other – as well as how she wants this match to end.
Here’s what she had to say to Tatame:

We’ve fought six times and we’ve won three times each, with my last victory being in the final of the IBJJF Featherweight World Championship.
The victory was by advantage, but for me a victory is a victory whether by advantage, points or submission, it doesn’t make any difference.

I train to be the best on the battlefield. I hope to beat her with a submission.
This is how I set my mind to face all my opponents.

Rodrigues provoked her before with some furious trash talking, but Basilio still believes that the rivalry between the two is mostly on behalf of her opponent:

I respect all my opponents, regardless of who they are.
Each person has their uniqueness, their story, and I don’t think anyone can erase that, regardless of victory or defeat.

I think this rivalry is much more on Anna’s part than mine.
In fact, I don’t know who she isn’t a rival to, even her own rival, after all, she calls herself a black cloud.
