10X World Champion Gabi Garcia Returns To Jiu-Jitsu at IBJJF Pans

The champ is back! Gabi Garcia makes her return to Jiu-Jitsu competitions! She is registered and will try to take home the gold at the 2017 Pan Championship.

Gabi Garcia’s last grappling competition was ADCC 2015 where will be coming back to her first grappling tournament since she competed at ADCC in 2015 where she took 3rd place. Earlier that year she lost to Mackenzie Dern in the final of the Absolute at the World Pro.

She then went to MMA where she amassed a 4-0 record in Japan’s Rizin Organisation. In here last fight, Garcia was scheduled to face Shinobu Kandori at Rizin 4: Rizin Fighting World Grand Prix 2016: Final Round on December 31, 2016. However, Kandori pulled out of the bout due to an injury and was replaced by Yumiko Hotta. Garcia won the bout via TKO in the first round, in what could be considered a major missmatch.
