Nathan Orchard, one of the most successful 10th Planet Jiu-Jitsu competitors, has been promoted to third degree Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt!
He was handed the promotion by none other than Eddie Bravo, 10th Planet founder and head coach:
This last weekend at the 20 Year Anniversary of 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu I was promoted to 3rd degree black belt by the one and only Eddie Bravo.
I couldn’t be more proud and honored to be a part of such a powerful team.

Nathan Orchard has been competing at an elite level for a number of years now, stacking wins against the likes of Masakazu Imanari and AJ Agazarm.
His most recent match has been at Polaris 4, against Ethan Crelinsten, which he lost:
My first goal was to enjoy myself and be present through the whole process from the traveling and weight cut and through the match.
There I absolutely succeeded. I had a blast the whole trip.
Even though the match itself was a bit frustrating and anticlimactic for me I still really enjoyed getting to compete on such a great stage.

Sloth Jiu-Jitsu: you can be slow and unathletic and still kick butt in Jiu-Jitsu.
