UFC champ Suga Sean O’Malley Says He’d Beat Female Star Caitlin Clark in Basketball

UFC’s 5’11” Champion Sean O’Malley Challenges NCAA Basketball Star Caitlin Clark Ahead of March Madness Finals. In a surprising turn of events, Sean O’Malley, the UFC’s towering 5’11” champion, has issued a challenge to Caitlin Clark, regarded as one of the NCAA’s most promising basketball stars, just as the March Madness finals loom.

Sean O’Malley, the UFC standout known for his dynamic striking and flashy performances inside the octagon, recently made headlines by expressing his belief that he could defeat NCAA women’s basketball star Caitlin Clark in her own sport.

“She’s been in it a little bit you know she’s been in it I haven’t been balling much so I’d probably have to say me.”

O’Malley’s bold declaration has ignited a flurry of speculation and anticipation among sports enthusiasts, who are eager to witness a potential clash between two athletes from vastly different disciplines. The prospect of a crossover matchup between a mixed martial artist and a collegiate basketball standout has captured the imagination of fans worldwide.

The confidence displayed by O’Malley in his ability to compete in a sport outside his domain underscores the unwavering self-belief and competitive spirit that define him as a champion. While some may view his challenge as audacious, others admire his willingness to step out of his comfort zone and test his skills against elite competition in another arena.

The UFC champ however, wants to avoid playing basketball, for fear of injury:

He said: “You know what, Tim tore his Achilles about three months ago… Jamal Hill tore his Achilles playing basketball… I thought, you know what, its a sign from Jesus Christ my Lord and savior to not play basketball. So the celebrity basketball games coming up, I got offered to play in it. And it hurt deep down my soul to say no because I love ball, ball is life… I do think after I’m done fighting that I will be in the [NBA’s] summer league. I might go back college.”

Conversely, Clark’s response to O’Malley’s challenge remains a subject of speculation, with many curious to see if the NCAA star will accept the proposition and potentially face off against the UFC champion on the basketball court. The possibility of such an encounter has generated significant buzz within both the MMA and basketball communities.

As the excitement continues to build leading up to the March Madness finals, all eyes are on Caitlin Clark and Sean O’Malley, two athletes who have captured the imagination of sports fans with their remarkable talents and fearless approach to competition. Whether or not their paths cross in a head-to-head showdown, their willingness to embrace new challenges serves as a testament to the boundless possibilities inherent in the world of sports.
