Polaris was onto something when they successfully booked the match everyone was gearing up for – Garry Tonon vs Dillon Danis. This garnered so much positive attention it even got Polaris a spot on the coveted UFC Fight Pass where it will be joining Eddie Bravo Invitational as a representative of grappling.
The outstanding tournament is set to take place August 19th in the UK. Now while in the past Tonon has always tried to instigate trouble with his grappling opponents this time might be a little different.
Ever since Danis has joined forces with UFC superstar he’s been a bit starstruck. As evidenced by tweets like these:
untouchable, uncrushable.

Even though he’s been neither untouchable nor uncrushable as evidenced by his loss from Jake Shields at Submission Underground 3 and further confirmed with him failing to get a place on the podium during the IBJJF Championship.
However this isn’t the end of it for Danis. Somehow he’s gotten it in his head he could be making a boxing debut alongside his master, McGregor against a 2x World Champion Boxer Amir Khan.
