Submission Underground just concluded the latest edition of the event. In the 4th edition of the event Dillon Danis went up against Jake Shields, Paolo Miyao against Urijah Faber and Durinho squared off against John Combs.
While there was plenty of excitements the event sorely lacked in submissions in fact all 4 matches from the main card found their conclusions in the over time.

Nathan Orchard defeats Mike Perez via escape time in overtime
Gilbert Burns defeats John Combs via submission in overtime
While Miyao was dedicated to his usual butt scooting there was plenty of good wrestling going around. Especially from Jake Shields.
Shields was adamant to keep catching Danis in takedowns even as Danis insisted on trying to place a guillotine. In the end Danis fell short into overtime much to the chagrin of John Danaher who complimented Shields on his work ethic and more in a post attached below:
