TMZ just broke the story that the Nevada State Athletic Commission is strongly considering the removal of cannabinoids from their banned list – which will possibly affect that majority of competitors under their banner.
If you take a trip down the memory lane you’ll remember it’s the NSAC that had a problem with Nick Diaz resulting in an initial ban for the duration of 5 YEARS back in 2015 but that was later shortened following appeals.
This wasn’t Diaz’s first infraction as he tested positive in both 2007 and 2012. He was penalized for the 3rd infraction and according to then rules – a third-time positive test for marijuana metabolites would constitute a three-year suspension.
