Kron Gracie Called Out By Tatsuya Kawajiri, Rizin CEO Willing To Make The Match

Tatsuya Kawajiri doesn’t believe in wasting time. Having been recently released from his UFC contract he signed with Rizin straight away.

He argues that he’s anxious to fight in front of a Japanese crowd once more. And he is set to fight December 29th – in his mind there’s only one opponent right – Kron Gracie.

The son of Rickson Gracie most recently fought Hideo Tokoro in September edition of Rizin World Grand Prix.

Tatsuya “Crusher” Kawajiri is 38 years old and has 45 MMA bouts under his belt, having won 35 of them. His last 6 fights were in the UFC as part of the Fight Night events – he won 3 lost 3. The biggest problem appeared to be that 5 of total 6 fights ended in judges decision. Kawajiri has been active in MMA since year 2000!

Rizin CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara seems willing to make the match in spite of huge experience difference between the two – Gracie is just 3-0 in MMA! Sakakibara said during a recent press conference that Kawajiri will be given the fight he wants!
