Jiu Jitsu Expo – Promoting Jiu-Jitsu Culture at the Italian BJJ Open 2024

The Jiu Jitsu Expo – promoting Jiu Jitsu Culture was born in Italy in 2022, on the occasion of
the 10th edition of the Italian BJJ Open, the Official Italian Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Championship
FIJLKAM – UIJJ.

The Jiu Jitsu Expo is the place where BJJ community meets to create a network and build
relationships.

The only event of its kind in Italy where the protagonists are not just competitors, black belts
and champions, but all athlethes, students, enthusiasts, friends and brands linked to BJJ, as
well as all those interested in the world of sport and trade fairs in general. The Jiu Jitsu Expo
represents the way to promote a real Italian BJJ community with its culture and offers unique
and unprecedented commercial opportunities also for international brands.

There were many exhibitors who were the protagonists of 2022. From clothing brands such
as Kano Kimonos, Tatami Fightwear and TopKimono, to the wellness sector with Herbalife
and Samadhi Yoga, to the most representative teams in Italy: Milanimal, Tribe Jiu Jitsu,
Matside Jiu Jitsu, L’Accademia and Budo Clan, to the artisans with Mastrociliegio, to Bjj
Summer Week.

All three days of the exhibition were then characterized by free seminars that could be
booked through the “strive” platform. BJJ professors such as Ivan Tomasetti, Andrea
Lavaggi, Federico Tisi, Marco Bancone, Angelo Marino, Margherita Montes, Veronica Pè,
Bernardo Serrini, Paolo Amodeo, Andrea Verdemare, Luca Anacoreta, Bernardo Serrini took
turns on the mats specially set up for the seminars. Special Guest Caio Terra, born in 1986,
black belt with Reyson Gracie, founder of the Caio Terra Academy.

The 2023 edition was explosive. Many stands have been added to those of the previous
year: Zebra Europe, BlorCompany crossfit & beauty, Bud Power, Roger Gracie Academy of
Cagliari, Peren Tattoo, La Trottola travel agency, Dragon Clows Fightwear, BeerJJ. The
