Gordon Ryan has had a great deal of victories but perhaps his most notable two losses came by way of rear naked choke from Felipe Pena from more or less identical scrambles.
After seeing the following post from Pena captioned:
“Missing that feeling! Nogi Worlds should I?”
Ryan responded by reposting and adding:
Yes, because I’ll crush you this time. All these other dudes cant hang. @felipepenabjj I actually respect as a grappler. He has something that hes better than almost anyone in the world at- back takes. But I’m not the same person as i was at adcc. Not even close
