Clint Eastwood is Making A Film About BJJ Practicing Air Force Members That Stopped Train Hijacking

Spencer Stone is the heroic member of the air force that used some old school jiu jitsu to disarm a gunman on a train to Paris.

As luck would have it Spencer will be starring in a movie about this heroic act directed by actor turned world class director Clint Eastwood. Interestingly the son of Eastwood actor Scott Eastwood is a huge fan of jiu jitsu.

The movie is called “The 15:17 to Paris” in a call back to a cult classic 3:10 to Yuma (go watch it, either version both are great).

In an interview with the Air Force Times, Stone said:

I 100 percent believe that Brazilian jiujitsu saved my life at that moment. Every move I used on him was very, very basic — you can learn in five minutes. If we had a course like that in the Air Force for people to learn basic moves, it could help anyone in a situation like that.
