Worlds 2017 is just around the corner and it’s promising quite a few exciting matches. Below are the complete Adult Male Black Belt Brackets along with the highlighted first round matches every jiu jiteiro would enjoy. Just to spice things up we-re going ultra-heavy weight to rooster weight!

One of the first interesting matches to watch will be Joao Gabriel Rocha vs Vinny Magalhaes. Both have proven themselves quite interesting to watch this year so we can’t wait to see how it shapes up!

Elsewhere in the packed Medium Heavy Dillon Danis will be fighting his first fight of the Worlds against Lucas Hulk Barbosa. Given Danis’ tremendous shape and the way Barbosa was able to handle himself against Gordon Ryan it’s anyone’s bet as to who wins this one. One thing’s for sure – it will pack quite a punch.

Of course one shouldn’t overlook the debut of Adam Wardzinski as a black belt in IBJJF Worlds – in the first round he will be facing Tanner Rice!

Besides those it’ll be interesting to see how AJ Agazarm fares in his new weight class – featherweight!
