82-year-old Promoted To BJJ Black Belt

Another BJJ adept practitioner that age is just a number. An 82-year-old man from Brazil was honored to be nominated for the championship belt. Adegard Câmar Florentino’s hard work was recognized by his instructor Ariane Pereira Guarnier . It was also an important day for the 2017 World Masters Champion as it was the first time she had the pleasure to promote one of her students to the BJJ Black Belt.

As if that wasn’t enough, Câmara is a former boxer as well as a former vale tudo fighter. He is the father of Olympic medalists in boxing – Yamaguchi Falcão Florentino and Esquiva Falcão Florentino.
