Khabib, Cejudo & Kayla Harrison Debate Judo or Wrestling, Which is Harder?

Judo or Freestyle Wrestling, which is more difficult? In which sport is it more difficult to achieve an Olympic gold medal?

This is the debate that happened between a very distinguished panel:

-Henry Cejudo, Freestyle Wrestling Olympic gold medalist, former UFC flyweight champion and current UFC bantamweight champion. Cejudo is the fourth person to hold titles in two different weight classes simultaneously. Because of these accomplishments in Wrestling and MMA, he is widely considered the greatest Combat sport athlete nowadays.

-Kayla Harrison, 2x Olympic Judo gold medalist, MMA PFL champion. As an Olympic double gold medalist in Judo, she is considered as one of the greatest Judo athletes of all time.

-Khabib Nurmagomedov, Combat Sambo World Champion, Judo black belt, and current UFC lightweight champion.

Cejudo was saying how is wrestling olympic gold medal is the hardest combat sport medal to achieve, but Kayla Harrison tells him to call him when he achieves two gold medals, like she did.

Kayla Harrison has also said that she would beat Khabib, a Judo black belt himself in a Judo match:

Kayla Harrison Is ‘100%’ Sure She’d Beat Khabib in Judo match

Khabib, disagrees with Cejudo. Growing up in Dagestan, he has trained extensively in both Judo and Wrestling, and comes up with a very good point: Judo is much harder because there are much more countries that compete in Judo in the Olympics (over 170 countries), whereas Wrestling only has 58 countries represented in the Olympics.

Khabib also says that Judo is more technical….

Very interesting conversation. Check it out:
