Looks like the entire community is still gathering impressions when it comes to the inauguaral Combat Jiu Jitsu event in addition to the Welterweight 16 men EBI.
The found of the event himself commented the event was even more of a success than he anticipated:
“It turned out better than I thought it would,” Bravo told Champions. Adding: “The crowd loved it,”
And really when you observe the event replay it’s apparent the drastic difference in the way the crowd of onlookers reacted to the two versions of the event.
You can hear some of the crowd going wild below:
The crowd LOVED the addition of CJJ here at #EBI11!! 2 more CJJ matches to go here on #UFCFIGHTPASS throughout the night! pic.twitter.com/U62ifRgY1u

CJJ competitor JM Holland said about the fight:
I never fought professionally just believed in my jiu jitsu and that I could pull something off from my back Chad George is just that a savage. I was so fucking scared but sharing that mat w some of the best in jiu jitsu was something I couldn’t not do. Thank you to everyone who supports me and those who enjoyed our performance we made history last night
Chad George wrote about the experience:
Last night we made history! What a night of emotions. Even though we didn’t get the results in the end that we wanted, im blessed to have the opportunity and to have such an incredible first fight for Combat Jiu Jitsu. Thank you @jm10p for an epic battle that forced me to be the best me possible. Thank you @eddiebravo10 and @ebiofficial for the opportunity. I hope we showed the world exactly what you were hoping. I had a complete blast. Thank you to my long time friend @joshlbarnett for being by my side, cornering and helping work through adversity. My student and corner @jonaquiroz135 , @xtrishxthexdishx I love you, I can’t say anything without thanking the magical David reed. If it wasnt for him and Reed chiropractic I would have NEVER been able to step on that stage at all. Monday afternoon, my rib popped out and was unsure of even competing. He worked daily on me and we knew we had to try. Two minutes into the first match it popped out again but I had to keep fighting. That fight was for my friends, team, coaches, family, students, supporters and everyone who has ever had a dream. I gave it everything I had even through the pain. I knew I couldn’t stop. The 2nd fight was just too much. I wouldnt let myself pull out. I had to try and go out out on my shield. Congrats to @quicknickhonstein on the win.
I’ve put my blood sweat and tears into these sports and would not change a thing. We can all be champions. We just need to make the choice of what that means to us. I love you guys. From the bottom of my heart. Thank you for the amazing ride. My sponsors @zevia @xguard @newazaapparel @axaloncreations @questnutrition @cauliflowernation @cmmafitness Lastly, I think Mma is calling
