Luca Anacoreta is one of the top black belts in Europe. He is a multiple European champion and has also participated at Copa Podio. He will be facing Eduardo Teta Rios from Frontline Academy Norway at the upcoming Toukon Challenge on November 23 in London.

The Toukon Challenge is an elite, invitation only grappling event; Featuring exciting competitors from around the world. It is the first of its kind to appear in Europe, with an experienced team to execute a highly professional event. Viewers will have the chance to either attend the event or watch the live PPV on toukonchallenge.com.

The number of BJJ fighters participating is a staggering 40! The date will be November 23 at London’s Clapham Grand.

BJJ stars such Lucio Lagarto, Kywan Gracie, Kywan Gracie Behring, Luca Anacoreta, Darragh O Connaill, Thiago Monstro Borges etc..have been confirmed. Luca Anacoreta talked to BJJ Eastern Europe about how his preparation is going:

-Luca, can you present yourself to the European BJJ community?

Hi everyone, my name is Luca Anacoreta, I’m 25 and I was born in Rome. I started practicing bjj in 2006 and today I’m a black belt and a co-founder of Aeterna jiu jitsu.

– Tell us about training in the build up to your superfight with Eduardo Teta Rios. What can people expect to see from you at the Toukon challenge?

My training is full of rolling sessions and I’m always looking to submit my opponent. It will be a great fight, I’ll do my best and because I know my opponent well, we are both are gonna give 100% for sure.

– What do you know about your opponent?

-Eduardo Teta Rios has already defeated me twice, once by submission and the other one by points at the last Rome international Open 2014. He’s a great guard player and has many years of experience.

-What are the fights that you most looking forward too?

-I’m very curious to watch Thomas Oyarzun vs Christopher Bowe and Darragh O Connail. The entire event is pretty much interesting especially the brown belt gp.

-What are your future plans BJJ wise?

-My future plan is to open my own academy of brazilian jiu jitsu
