Olympic Boxer: Ronda Rousey One Of Hardest Punchers I’ve EVER Felt

Former UFC bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey will be making her return at UFC 207 against current champion Amanda Nunes. She is working heavily on her boxing with an Olympic boxer: Mikaela Mayer — a two-time US national champion, four-time national Golden Glove champion and member of Team USA at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.

Rousey was on one of the longest winning streaks in UFC history before getting knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 on November 2015.

This could be the key to Rousey’s comeback.

Rousey is a world class grappler but her loss to Holly Holm exposed her biggest weakness: her striking.

UFC 207 will take take place Saturday, Dec. 30 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Mikaela Mayer who competed in Rio in 2016 said that she’s one of the hardest punchers she’s ever felt, and makes her work.
