Georges St-Pierre had to take a lengthy pause from combat sports training for a while, due to shoulder injury and surgery…
But now he has been given the green light to get back at it – by his doctor!
St-Pierre was more than excited about the great news:
Finally today I got the greenlight from the Doc to start back to go live slowly in Combat Sport ✅💪🥋 👊 pic.twitter.com/I9kzQnlhmS

That’s not to say that we will see GSP back in the octagon competing, though.
As it appears, he has come to terms with his retirement:
I miss sometimes, the adrenaline, the victory.
When you win a fight, there’s nothing that can come close to that, and unfortunately I will probably never have that feeling.I will never have that feeling again of winning another championship, and I miss that feeling.
But that’s reality and I’m good with it. I have to accept it.Everything that goes up in life goes down.
Everything in life, I believe is a cycle and you have to make peace with it.You have to accept it.
