Gisele Bündchen, Brazilian supermodel, has been training Jiu-Jitsu since the end of 2021.
And she has now been promoted to the rank of a BJJ purple belt!
The promotion took place at the Valente Brothers academy in the United States, where she trains.
Bündchen shared how happy she was via her Instagram stories:
I am now a purple belt in Jiu-Jitsu. Thank you, Valente Brothers.
Congratulations, Valente Brothers, on your 30th birthday. Your discipline and values are inspired.
Her kids train as well:

The supermodel enjoys Jiu-Jitsu, as well as the MMA/self-defense aspect of it.
Here’s what she had to say about the topic:
I believe the more tools we have in our toolbox the better. I feel stronger, more confidence and empowered since I started practicing self-defense. I feel it’s an important skill for all, but specially for us women.
Thank you Valente brothers for being awesome teachers and for making training so much fun. I am looking forward to keep improving.
