Rhasaan Orange AKA Renato Laranja is an American actor. Orange is most well known for his portrayal of Renato Laranja, a fictional, Brazilian BJJ black belt with an attitude. Laranja has an is a 27 time BJJ world champion (sic). Rhasaan also played Detective Thomas Edward ‘Tek’ Kramer on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. As a child, he appeared on the PBS children’s series Sesame Street.
Rhaasan Orange holds two black belts in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate under his father, Gerald Orange and Brazilian Jiu jitsu under Eddie Bravo.
Funny enough, Famous comedian and actor Joey ‘Coco’ Diaz was a Karate student of Rhasaan’s father.
Diaz is good friends with Joe Rogan and Eddie Bravo and has trained at various BJJ academies from Rigan to Jean Jacques Machado, to Eddie bravo to Alberto Crane. He is currently a blue belt in BJJ.
