White Belt with Background in Chess Defeats BJJ Black Belt (Naga Germany 2015)

Yesterday at Naga Germany, in the Expert Gi Division, a Bulgarian No Gi grappler called Veselin Dukov (Pitbulls Sumbission Grappling) submitted a BJJ Black belt from Brazil in a Gi Match and won the black belt division.

According to his team mate who contacted BJJEE, Veselin is a strictly No Gi Grappler and has a background in…..Chess! He also doesn’t know how to tie his belt properly 🙂 More proof that belts don’t really mean that much.
