Paralysed Grappler Shows Brilliant Defense to Bow & Arrow Choke

Maximiliano Ulloa is a BJJ purple that was in a terrible accident a few years ago. He fell off his 2 story balcony and was paralysed from the waist down. Max was already a blue belt at this point. He continued training and adapted his Jiu-Jitsu for his disability. Max also competes and is a master of defense and escapes.

Jean Jacques Machado is another BJJ player that has to overcome physical obstacles (he has four fingers missing on his left hand), that didn’t stop him from being one of the greatest champions in BJJ history.

Max Ulloa shows a brilliant and simple way to defend the highest percentage submission in Jiu-Jitsu: the bow and arrow choke.
