Khabib Nurmagomedov & His Crew Play “Dagestani” Basketball

Khabib Nurmagomedov and his crew warm and cross train by playing what the call ‘Dagestani Basketball’ which is a mix basketball, rugby & grappling.

Will Harris Productions spent time in Dagestan with Khabib and his family and teammates and got a chance to see theur training routine and every day life.

They showed him what a mix between rugby and basketball would be. This is way different than your average game of playground B-Ball. For starters, they don’t dribble and contact and even grappling is encourged. There is only one rule: Do not get injured…

This type of training is actually common with wrestlers in former Eastern block countries.

You can watch more in the upcoming documentary: The Dagestan Chronicles presented by Will Harris Productions.
