In BJJ, the grapevine position generally involves the practitioner on top in the mount position intertwining their legs with the opponent’s to limit their movement. From this position, executing a leglock would involve applying pressure to the opponent’s leg or ankle. This technique is likely a more advanced application of the grapevine position, emphasizing submission rather than just control.
