Erberth Santos Defeats Opponent 62-0: Sets New World Record

Erberth Santos, was the world’s best brown belt in 2014. At black belt, he is continuing on his winning path. He won double gold at the UAEJJF’s Tokyo Grand Slam last month and last weekend also double gold at the Roraima Open in Brazil.

In the final of the black belt absolute, Erberth defeated his opponent by a staggering score of 62×0. By doing so he set the new world record for most points scored in a black belt match. The record was previously held by Guilherme Mendes (51-0 at 2013 Rickson Gracie Cup).

Admire the countless transitions from guard pass, to knee on belly to mount to back mount.
