Dan Camarillo’s Set Up For Flying Triangle to Arm Bar @2016 Pan

Daniel Camarillo is a 2nd degree BJJ Black Belt and 4th degree Judo Black Belt. He has a style that he shares with brother Dave Camarillo, which they call Guerrilla Jiu-Jitsu. It mixes Judo and BJJ.

At this year’s Pan, Dan was able to hit his favourite move: Flying triangle to armbar. He explains the set up in the video below this one.

I used a foot sweep setup to lower his arm then jumped into a flying triangle. The arm was extended so I applied an arm bar. Hope you enjoy it.

Dan Camarillo breaks down his flying triangle set up:

I have a few flying triangle set ups that I want to share. This is the first one. The setup is basic, but the flying triangle is the part you will have to get used to. Foot sweep fake to get your opponent to try and grab your leg.. At the time the opponent reaches for the leg, you should already be executing the flying triangle.
