Amanda ‘Tubby’ Santana Submitting Male Wrestler With Closed Guard Triangle Armbar

Back in 2010, Amanda ‘Tubby’ Santana, a female BJJ practitioner faced a male wrestler in grappling competition. It was obvious that the Wrestler was not versed in Jiu-Jitsu as he didn’t know how to open the closed guard and didn’t know how to defend any submission attempts.

Amanda demonstrated what a Jiu-Jitsu girl can do to a much bigger grappler (untrained in Jiu-Jitsu) using flexibility, conditioning and of course great Jiu-Jitsu.

Amanda went on to become a Jiu-Jitsu champion notably winning double gold at the IBJJF Worlds at brown belt.

We hope that the Wrestler learned some Jiu-Jitsu after the match.
