Olavo Abreu On Carlson Gracie, Creontes & BJJ In Thailand

 

 

Prof. Olavo Abreu is a 3rd Degree Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt under the legendary Carlson Gracie

He began his Jiu Jitsu career in 1994 training at Carlson Gracie School in Rio de Janeiro, under the direct supervision of Carlson Gracie Jr.

Olavo received his blue, purple and brown belt from Master Carlson Gracie. In the year 2000 Olavo moved to Brazilian top team club where he became a black belt and head coach for the Brazilian jiu jitsu team during the years 2001 to 2005.

As a Head coach at Brazilan Top Team he had opportunity to train army and police, as well as many MMA and Jiu Jitsu champions like; Rodrigo Minotauro, Paulo Filho, Ricardo Arona and many more.

2005 Olavo moved to Abu Dhabi and worked there for 7 years, heading the biggest Jiu Jitsu program in the world.

Prof. Olavo Abreu is now heading the Jiu Jitsu program and MMA program at Phuket Top Team.
