The intensity is higher for myself, every day I try to evolve my jiu jitsu. I am now making a strong training to hone my guard passes, and I will always seek evolution in my game.

4. After Copa Podio, what is next for you in 2013/2014?

After the Copa Podio, I will fight every Opens IBJJF championships and also the ones that pay money, and fight every weekend. And I will focus on training without the gi, to fight the worlds no gi. I enjoy giving seminars in Brazil and abroad, if interested, please send email to renato_cardoso88 at hotmail dot com or on my facebook fan page Renato Cardoso.

5. How can you define your style of Jiu-Jitsu?

I’m always looking to finish, not fighting thinking about time, and the points that come during the fight.

6. Who are in your opinion, the most dangerous guys in this Copa Podio GP?

In my opinion they are all favorites and strong candidates, so there is not a single favorite, just some who are more experienced like: Ceconi, Felipe Preguica, Jaime Canuto, Paulo Miyao, Yan Cabral and Diego Moreno.
