Training martial arts teaches you a lot of things.
One of them is respect – among other things, because you never know who you’re dealing with on the other side.
And, well, as you may see on the video below, there are plenty of cases of people who don’t understand the reality of street fighting.
The assailant approaches a stranger who appears to be just “standing there”. He then proceeds to headbutt him.
But then, the guy executes a beautiful Harai Goshi – slamming the assailant on the pavement.
He doesn’t stop there, though. He applies an Armbar, throwing punches along the way.
Then he stands up and, as the assailant is defending himself with leg kicks from the bottom, the guy does a beautiful spinning guard pass and proceeds to rain punches down, as well as Armbar transitions.
After one viciously locked Armbar, he lets it go but then proceeds to deliver a few kicks to the head – due to which the other people around them stop the fight.
