It looks as though 2013 ADCC Open weight champion Roberto ‘Cyborg’ Abreu will face Josh Barnett at Metamoris 5.
This hasn’t been confirmed yet by Ralek Gracie or Metamoris but Cyborg wrote today on his instagram:
Seems like I’ll step Up to face Josh Barnett for The heavy weight Title for @metamoris V. Who would like to see that?
This might be a tricky match up for Cyborg as he is around 103 kilos compared to the powerful Barnett who is around 120 kilos. Cyborg wasn’t able take down or reverse Brendan Schaub at Metamoris 2. He does hold a win over Marcus Buchecha at the last ADCC open weight final.
