Darragh O Conaill vs. Jon Satava (GI)
Satava puts the pressure on early and passes guard in an aggressive manner just like his master Marcelo Garcia. Around the 10th minute, O’Conaill hits a takedown and Satava spends most of the bout in deep half guard until the need of the match.

Gezary Matuda vs. Laurence Fouillat (GI)
Matuda spending most of the matches on top trying to pass, and trying chokes but Fouillat did a great job of recovering. Matuda was a bit frustrated at the end and felt that Fouillat was being defensive.

Bruno Frazatto vs. Gianni Grippo (GI)
Gianni was pushing the pace much more in this very close match. There were a lot of sitting and inverted guards and leg drags and counters. It was nice to see that both guys didn’t want to stay (stuck) in the 5050 guard.

Augusto Tanquinho vs. Eddie Cummings (NO GI)
Cummings on his back goes all out on leg attacks, and Tanquinho spins out of everything. There were 2 attempts that were very close but Tanquinho was too good. In the last 5 mins, Cummings seems a bit slower and Tanquinho even momentarily passes his guard.Tanquinho’s confidence grew as the match went on. He went fro passing on his knees to passing standing.

AJ Agazarm vs. Jake Shields (NO GI)
This one is going to be exciting. The bad blood is real between these two. AJ with some heavy pummelling. Aj shoots for a takedown, Shields stuffs it and falls back in a tight arm in guillotine, AJ Escapes! Jake with heavy pressure passing now, passes the guard and gets mount, takes the back. Its all Jake right now. Aj gets back on his feet and Jake Stockton slaps him twice in the face! The match is stopped to cool everybody down. This is a great match. They are going at it very hard. Dirty match, bordering on strikes. Jake hunting for chokes. This is rough Jiu-Jitsu. Jake mounts AJ again now. Time runs out. AJ puts out his hand to be shaked but Jake slaps him again! Jakes calls AJ a bitch on the mic. A fight almost breaks up.

Rousimar Palhares vs. Garry Tonon (NO GI)
This was an insane match! Both guys start off strong exchanging leg attacks. Tonon was the closest to finish with a reverse heel hook at one point. Tonon was relentless the whole match: He got Palhares in 3 triangles, passed his guard, mounted him, took his back, almost had a twister. Palhares was able to power bomb throw Tonon a few times but spent most of the match defending Tonin’s attacks by powering out. AT the end, Palhares was so slippery.
